Sunday of Advent. I will do this to be emptied of myself so Christ can come and live in me 'totally' this Christmas Day!!! I love the Byzantine rite as well as my own!!! I am a Latin Rite Catholic married to a Byzantine Catholic, and we primarily worship and celebrate in the Byzantine Church. I've had difficulty getting into the Byzantine "spirit" and keep looking back longingly towards the West, but your blog is really helping me a lot to see the things we have in common, and understand the differences better.
